The combined dryer is composed of a refrigerated dryer and a heatless desiccant dryer connected through appropriate pipelines. Among them, the refrigerated dryer can remove about 85% of the water in the compressed air, while the pressure dew point of the compressed air at the outlet of the regenerative dryer can reach - 40 ℃. Compared with heatless/heated desiccant dryer , the operation of the combined drying system is more reliable and efficient, because the exhaust heat of the refrigeration compressor is used to heat the regenerative air flow, and the regenerative air consumption of the regenerative dryer can be reduced from 14% to 4%, which greatly saves the operation cost.
